THE LIBERATION SUMMIT™

Each year, leaders are invited into phase-specific Summits that honor the full cycle of leadership, guided by the lessons of nature, culture, and community. This page reflects our upcoming gathering for RESTORATION.

MARCH 05 - 12, 2027 | BALI, INDONESIA

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS…

The Liberation Summit™ is an intentionally curated leadership retreat.
It is for those who carry responsibility, influence, and care.
Often without space to rest, restore, or simply be human.

We use the word retreat because it is familiar.
But what unfolds here goes deeper.

This Summit offers personal restoration and cultural immersion,
creating space to step out of urgency and return to rhythm, reflection, and renewal.

Why Nyepi

Why Nyepi •

The Liberation Summit™ is intentionally timed alongside Nyepi,
Bali’s sacred Day of Silence.

Nyepi is not a wellness trend.
It is a cultural agreement.

For 24 hours, the entire island shuts down.

  • Airports close

  • Roads empty

  • Businesses pause

  • Lights dim

  • Noise stops

Not as punishment.
Not as performance.
But as collective care
On Nyepi, everyone pauses…together.

NYEPI — WHEN AN ENTIRE ISLAND RESTS

WHAT NYEPI MAKES POSSIBLE

Nyepi creates a rare and powerful container.

When the world around you goes quiet, your nervous system doesn’t have to fight to rest.

There is nothing to keep up with.
Nothing to respond to.
Nothing you are expected to manage.

The island itself says:
Now is the time to be still.

This is why the Liberation Summit™ is held here, and at this time.

Most leaders rest against the world.

  • Checking emails quietly

  • Monitoring systems from afar

  • Holding responsibility even while being “off”

Nyepi removes that pressure.

When an entire culture pauses, you are no longer opting out alone.

You are resting with something larger than yourself.

This allows leaders to:

  • fully unplug without guilt

  • trust that pause is permitted

  • experience rest as communal, not isolating

  • feel what it’s like to be held by rhythm instead of urgency

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR LEADERS

THIS IS NOT AN ESCAPE

IT IS ALIGNMENT

Choosing Nyepi is not avoidance.

It is alignment with a wisdom that understands:
Rest is not the opposite of leadership.
It is what allows leadership to continue with integrity.

By honoring Nyepi, participants are not stepping away from responsibility,
they are stepping into a tradition that has sustained people, communities, and futures for generations.

By entering this Summit, you are entering a moment where an entire island has already given permission to rest.

You don’t have to justify it.
You don’t have to explain it.
You don’t have to hold everything together.

Your cape is not needed here.

For this moment, the world agrees with you:
It is time to be still.
It is time to restore.
It is time to breathe.

You deserve that.

AN INVITATION TO REST

Safety & Care

Safety & Care •

WHY THE LIBERATION SUMMIT™ EXISTS

In this video, Dr. Angela M. Shuttlesworth (DrAMS) speaks directly to leaders who carry responsibility, sacrifice quietly, and are rarely given space to simply be.

She reflects on the absence of radically safe spaces for those who are always expected to show up, hold it together, and lead, while often neglecting their own well-being. Drawing from a decade of global living and cultural immersion, DrAMS introduces Nyepi, Bali’s sacred Day of Silence, as a living example of what becomes possible when rest is collectively honored.

This is an invitation into a different rhythm of leadership, one that welcomes pause, restores the body, creates space for reflection, and allows leaders to reconnect with themselves without expectation or performance.

Many leaders arrive carrying more than most people see.

They take trips.
They create moments.
They care for everyone else.

And even while away, they are still holding responsibility.

They are trusted.
Relied upon.
Needed.

Often, they are the last person included.

If this feels familiar, you are not alone.

The Liberation Summit™ creates space for leaders who give quietly to finally be held.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

A RADICALLY SAFE GATHERING

The Liberation Summit™ is intentionally designed as a radically safe space.

Not sterile, performative, or transactional.
This is a space for good people, those who know how to be in community, respect difference, and understand that presence matters.

You don’t have to explain yourself or prove anything here.
You don’t have to carry your title into the room.

You get to arrive as a whole human.

HOW WE CARE FOR THE CIRCLE

We take care of this space because it takes care of the people in it.

That means:

  • Invitation and referral-based participation, so the room is filled with people who arrive with respect, humility, and good intent

  • Pre-Summit conversations, not to evaluate you, but to ensure the experience feels aligned, supportive, and mutual

  • Thoughtful curation of the group, so the gathering feels grounded, diverse, and genuinely resonant

  • Clear shared agreements, so everyone can relax into presence, privacy, and trust

Safety here isn’t about rules or rigidity.

It’s about stewardship.

We tend the room so you don’t have to.

Every participant is supported through a Retreat Concierge model that honors both logistics and lived experience.

THE CURRENT SUMMIT — RESTORATION

Personal Restoration & Cultural Immersion

Our cycle begins with focusing on restoration, because leadership cannot be sustained without it.

Held in Bali and rooted in cultural immersion, this Summit invites leaders to slow down, recalibrate, and restore what has been depleted, not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

This is intentional travel.

Travel that ensures you receive what you actually need, not just what fits into a schedule.

PERSONAL RESTORATION

Nervous system regulation, deep rest, space to simply be.

CULTURAL IMMERSION

Learning from culture with respect, humility, and care.

LEADERSHIP RECALIBRATION

Clarity without pressure. Sustainability without urgency.

The Liberation Summit™ is not meant to end when you return home.

Throughout the experience, you’ll engage with leadership lessons that are designed to travel with you.

You Will Explore

  • Conversations with community leaders who honor tradition while inviting innovation

  • Rituals that root leaders in spirit, community, and personal growth

  • How cultures sustain themselves through intentional rest and collective care

  • How Balinese leaders protect their people’s future by valuing restoration as responsibility, not luxury

These lessons are practical, cultural and deeply human.

They offer perspective you can integrate into:

  • how you lead people

  • how you design systems

  • how you steward power

  • and how you care for yourself along the way

This is learning that doesn’t rush you forward, it grounds you, strengthens you, and stays with you.

LEADERSHIP LESSONS YOU CAN BUILD ON

This Summit is for leaders who:

  • carry real responsibility and influence

  • are tired of always being “the strong one”

  • value culture, depth, and integrity

  • want restoration without disengagement

  • are ready to lead without losing themselves

If you’ve been holding your breath,
this is where you exhale.

WHO THIS SUMMIT IS FOR

HOW THIS SPACE IS CURATED

The Liberation Summit™ is a deliberately curated global circle, accessible by invitation or referral.

Participants are selected based on:

  • emotional intelligence

  • cultural respect

  • humility and awareness of power

  • readiness to engage in community with care

This is not about status.
This is about providing radical safety for those who also understand what privacy means.

This ensures the space remains sacred, safe, and deeply resonant.

THE LIBERATION SUMMIT™ EXPERIENCE

An Eight-Day Nyepi Immersion for Executive Leaders
Presented by Be.Lead.Grow

  • Land

“Your body arrives before your mind.”

This day is intentionally unprogrammed. Participants arrive, settle in, and begin the transition from responsibility to presence. We honor travel, jet lag, and the nervous system’s need to acclimate.

There is nothing to catch up on and nothing to perform.

The work begins by not rushing.

  • Open the Container

“This is not business as usual.”

Participants are welcomed into the rhythm, values, and cultural context of the retreat. We introduce Nyepi, shared agreements, and the intention of liberation as a leadership practice, not a productivity strategy.

This day creates clarity, safety, and orientation without urgency.

  • Clear the Field

“What must be set down before silence?”

This day supports intentional preparation for Nyepi. Leaders are invited to notice what they are carrying, roles, expectations, narratives, and gently begin releasing what will not serve them in silence.

Reflection, journaling, and creative practices support this clearing process.

  • Be Still

    “Nothing is required of you.”

Nyepi is Bali’s sacred Day of Silence. The entire island pauses… no travel, no work, no speaking, no external activity.

    This day is not facilitated.

    It is experienced.

Participants are invited into stillness, rest, and deep reflection as part of a collective cultural practice of renewal.

  • Return With Awareness

    “What rose in the quiet?”

Following Nyepi, participants gently re-enter connection and dialogue. This day honors what surfaced in silence without rushing to interpretation or action.

Facilitated reflection and small-group dialogue support meaning-making at an unhurried pace.

  • Shape Meaning

    “Liberation has a language.”

This day centers creativity as a leadership practice. Through guided creative and narrative experiences, participants explore how insight becomes expression, without pressure to produce.

Creativity is treated as a form of wisdom, not output.

  • Anchor the Shift

    “What changes because you rested?”

Participants reflect on how liberation, rest, and clarity translate into their leadership, organizations, and lives. This is not about action plans, but discernment, boundaries, and sustainability.

Leaders identify what they are willing to protect moving forward.

  • Depart Whole

    “Take only what is yours.”

The retreat closes with collective acknowledgment, gratitude, and intentional departure. Participants leave resourced and integrated, without urgency to explain or perform their experience.
